National Public Works Week
Awards Dinner and Auction
Since 1960, APWA has sponsored National Public Works Week as a way to energize and educate the public on the importance of public works to their daily lives: planning, building, managing, and operating at the heart of their local communities to improve everyday quality of life. This year National Public Works Week will be May 20th – 26th.
The Sacramento Chapter of APWA will celebrate public works agencies in the region by hosting the 2018 National Public Works Week Awards Dinner and Auction on Wednesday, May 16th. In addition to honoring outstanding individuals in public works, all proceeds from the evening will benefit the Sacramento Chapter’s Education Endowment Fund (EEF).
Appetizers and silent auction starts at 5:30 PM. Dinner, silent/live auctions, awards, presentation of scholarships, and the famous Dessert Dash to follow at 6:30 PM. The cost is $65/person or $600 for a table of 10 if registered by April 29th. Cost increases to $75/$700 starting on April 30th.
The night will be packed full of fun, laughter, and comradery. Our Master of Ceremonies will be Marco Palilla and back for another year as our live auctioneer is John Maus. Bring your pocket book and help raise funds for the EEF for future grants to local colleges and universities.
If you wish to sponsor the event, or make a donation to our auction, contact Jenn Goodwin at (916) 783-4100 or email@example.com.
