The nominee who receives the award will receive a cash award of $200 in addition to the plaque.

Rebuilding Dreams Volunteer Opportunity

What do you get when you cross Extreme Home Makeover with Habitat for Humanity? Come join APWA in the Rebuilding Dreams program. This one-day event provides necessary repairs to homes of low-income homeowners in South Sacramento. Rebuilding Together will provide the materials and technical expertise for repairs such as painting, landscaping, roofing, fence installation and plumbing – we just need to provide the volunteers.

RSVP: Register online by April 18th at  so that they can plan accordingly for food and t-shirts.

Annual Awards Dinner and Auction!

One of our biggest annual events, the Awards Dinner and Auction is not to be missed (Flyer Here).

Assist the Chapter in its annual fundraising efforts for the Education Endowment Fund (EEF) by donating auction items (Donation Form). The EEF provides grants to our local universities for projects that enhance the education of future public works professionals.

We will also be recognizing our region’s Managers of the Year at the event. See information above on how to nominate a worthy individual.
